Basic steps

Open the View menu
and choose Header and
Footer...
Headers and Footers are used to add slide numbers, the date,
time or any other standard text to the top or bottom of slides,
notes or handouts.

tab - Slide or Notes and
Handouts

Apply to the slide

to appear, giving details
as needed
