To Defi ne a Range as a Data Table
After creating the interest rate series in column B and entering the formulas in row 9, the next step is to
defi ne the range B9:E23 as a data table. The Data Table command on the What–If Analysis button on the Data tab
on the Ribbon is used to defi ne the range B9:E23 as a data table. Cell E2 is the input cell, which means it is the cell
in which values from column B in the data table are substituted in the formulas in row 9.
