To Copy the Formulas to Fill the Amortization Schedule
5 Select the range G2:K2. Click the Borders button on the Home tab on the Ribbon to assign
the range a light bottom border.
6 Select the range G20:K20 and then click the Borders button on the Home tab on the
Ribbon to assign the range a light bottom border. Select cell H22 to display the worksheet
as shown in Figure 4–45.
7 Click the Save button on the Quick Access Toolbar to save the workbook using the fi le
name, Braden Mortgage Loan Payment Calculator.

To Enter New Loan Data
With the Loan Payment Calculator, Interest Rate Schedule, and Amortization
Schedule sections of the worksheet complete, you can use them to generate new loan
information. For example, assume you want to purchase a pontoon boat for $41,550.00.
You have $6,000.00 for a down payment and want the loan for 5 years. Braden Mortgage
currently is charging 7.25% interest for a 5–year loan. The steps on the next page enter
the new loan data.
