Can I group and
outline without
subtotals?
Yes. You do not have
to use the Subtotals
button to outline
a worksheet. You
can outline a work-
sheet by using the
Group button on the
Data tab on the Ribbon.
Usually, however, the Group button is useful only when you already have total lines in a worksheet.
