To Use Notepad to Open and Print the CSV File
The following steps show how to use Notepad to open and print the CSV fi le.

Click the Start button on the Windows Vista taskbar to display the Start menu and then click All Programs at the bottom
of the left pane on the Start menu to display the All Programs list.
Click Accessories in the All Programs list and then click Notepad to start Notepad.
If the Notepad window is not maximized, click the Maximize button next to the Close button on its title bar, click File on
the menu bar, and then click Open.

appears, if necessary, click
Computer in the Favorite Links sec-
tion of the Navigation pane and
then double-click UDISK 2.0 (E:) to
select the USB fl ash drive as the
new open location. Select All Files
in the ‘Files of type’ list.

What is shown in the CSV fi le?
Figure 5–70 shows the contents of
the Silver Photography Accessories
Sales Rep Table CSV fi le. The col-
umn headings are on the fi rst line,
separated by commas. Each record
is on a separate line. Commas separate
the fi elds in each record; quotation marks surround any fi elds with data containing spaces or commas. Data saved in this
format can be read by most applications, including Excel.

Click File on the
