Why does Excel change the folder
name when the Excel Template
fi le type is chosen?
When the Excel Template fi le
type is chosen in the Save as type
box, Excel automatically changes the
contents of the Save in box to the Templates folder created when Offi ce 2007 was installed. In a production environment
— that is, when you are creating a template for a business, school, or personal application — the template typically would
be saved in the Templates folder, not on the USB fl ash drive.
