To Add Shapes and Modify Text in the Organization Chart
The default organization chart layout includes fi ve shapes: a shape for a manager at the top of the chart, a
shape for the manager’s assistant on the left side in the second row of the chart, and three shapes for subordinates in
the third row of the chart. The Malik Legal Services Information Technology department requires two additional
shapes in the organization chart: a shape at the top of the chart for the Director level of management, and a shape
below the lower-left shape for the Security Specialist job title. The following steps add two new shapes to the organization
chart and then modify the text in all of the shapes.
