returns the arctangent

of the specified x and y

coordinates.

ATANH

The
ATANH
function returns the inverse hyperbolic tangent of a number. Number must be

between –1 and 1 (excluding –1 and 1). The inverse hyperbolic tangent is the value in which

the hyperbolic tangent is number, so
ATANH(TANH(number))
equals number.

=ATANH(number)

Notice the example in Figure 10.7 where the number equals .1 and the inverse hyperbolic of

the number from the
ATANH
function equals
0.1003
.

Any real number between –1 and 1.
