PERCENTILE
A set of independent values; can be cell references, range names, or arrays.

PERCENTILE
PERCENTILE returns the k-th percentile of values in a range.
=PERCENTILE(array,k)
The PERCENTILE function is used to a threshold of acceptance. In Figure 11.34, for example,
the price earning ratios of 12 companies is given. To find the value of the seventieth
percentile (the k value), the result is 28.3.
