PERCENTRANK
PERCENTRANK returns the rank of a value in a data set as a percentage of the data set.
=PERCENTRANK(array,x,significance)
This function returns the percentage of values in the data set that are smaller than x—the
relative standing of an obser vation in a data set. Figure 11.35 shows an example of this
calculation.
Is the data set with numeric values that defines relative standing.
ARRAY
Is the value for which you want to know the rank.
X
An optional value that identifies the number of significant digits for
the percentage value that is returned. If omitted, three (3) digits are
returned.
