Figure 2-15 shows another example of an XY chart, this one using the lines with
markers subtype. As you can see, the data points, when connected, draw a right
triangle.

Area charts
Think of an area chart as a line chart in which the area below the line has been
colored in. Table 2-7 lists Excel’s six area chart subtypes.
Figure 2-16 shows an example of a stacked area chart. Stacking the data series
enables you to see clearly the total, plus the contribution by each series.
