Edit Conditional Formatting Rule Precedence
Edit Conditional Formatting Rule Precedence
If you want, select the cell or range with the conditional formatting rules you
want to edit.
Click the Home tab.
Click the Conditional Formatting button, and then click Manage Rules .
Click the Show formatting rules for list arrow, and then select an option to
show the rules you want.
Select the rule you want to change.
To move the selected rule up or down in precedence, click Move Up or Move
Down .
To stop rule evaluation at a specific rule, select the Stop If True check box.
Select this option for backwards compatibility with previous versions of Excel
that don’t support multiple conditional formatting rules.
To delete a rule, click Delete Rule .
To edit a rule, click Edit Rule , make the changes you want, and then click
OK .
Click OK .
